February 1 to February 28, 2019 PARTNERS Family Services conducted our second Community Needs Assessment Survey to get a better understanding of the community’s perception of our organization; identify gaps in services; and receive feedback on the work we do in Humboldt and Area.

We’ve identified 3 key areas we need to work on as a result of the information gathered through our assessment:

1. Our staff, while highly skilled and qualified for their roles, need to do a better job building relationships with our clients, partners and other community stakeholders.

2. Parenting supports, domestic violence support and counselling are the key services we need to focus on providing for Humboldt and Area residents

3. Our staff require further training to work with individuals and families with diverse backgrounds with a focus on New Canadians and those living with different abilities

We thank everyone who took the time to complete our survey, and for the feedback you provided. We are proud of the work we have done with individuals, families and communities in our service region over the past 18 years, and look forward to continuing to build on our previous successes. As an organization, we also recognize we always have room to improve the work that we do to ensure we are providing the best possible services to all individuals and families in Humboldt and Area.

2018 was remarkably challenging for our organization as a whole – our Board, management, and staff – and we look forward to taking the time to reflect on the lessons we have learned, as well as the incredible work we have done to support the community during a time of unprecedented loss.

We encourage you to reach out to our office at any time if you have questions, concerns, feedback or suggestions. You can reach us via the “Contact Us” link on this website, or via email at [email protected]

Again – thank you for completing our survey, and taking the time to review this snapshot of the results.
